Gerard Shoe
A loafer shoe with cutaway tip.
This shoe is completely made from upper leather. The sole is tightly sewn to the upper part, the heel is glued and then nailed to the mid sole using shoemakers nails.
Made from hardened leather, the sole offers a good grip on bad terrain. The lacing tightens the outer shoe and holds the foot in place inside the heelcap.
This shoe is very well suited for mariners, be it kingsmen or "freelancers" (as pirates) and cloak-and-dagger characters or nobility from the 16th to 18th century.
