Penda Leather jerkin Suede
Originally designed for padding purposes underneath armour, the jerkin developed a civilian variation, which was worn throughout all social classes. Being the predecessor of todays known vest,
it is made without any sleeves and can be laced to the wearers body on both sides. This way it allows an airy wearing for good weather and a tighter laced wearing for cooler days. The wide neckline can be laced with the leather string provided.
The soft suede material will have the wearer not only appear classy, but will also protect from light rain and wind. It is perfectly suited for noble costumes, but also for rangers and adventurers.
When combined with a simple shirt, "Penda" will quickly become a simple, yet becoming costume for any medieval market or LARP event.
